About me

Sarah Barcham - Counsellor

It can be a difficult journey to reach the point where you decide to seek therapy and it is a brave step to take the initiative towards changing things that are not working in your life or that are causing you distress.

To see if I might be someone you could work with, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself – my name is Samantha and I’m a qualified and experienced BPS Chartered Counselling Psychologist and integrative psychotherapist working with individuals. I work with people on mid- to long-term therapeutic engagements, depending on the goals we are working towards together. In my practice, I seek to offer a safe, supportive and confidential space that is separate from your everyday life where you can talk about and explore what is on your mind. I will work with you to cultivate a therapeutic environment that supports personal change and growth. I have experience working with a wide range of issues, however, I have in-depth knowledge and experience of family estrangement and complex trauma.

At present, I offer psychotherapy online through Zoom, Skype or FaceTime. We can discuss what would be suitable for you based on your individual circumstances and what is bringing you to therapy.

If you are considering entering into psychotherapy, you probably have lots of questions. Through this website, I hope to answer some of these and provide you with a sense of me and the kind of psychological therapist I am and you are welcome to get in touch to find out more.
