During our initial appointment, we will get to know each other and I will answer any questions you have about counselling and psychotherapy honestly and as clearly as I can. There is no obligation for you to commit to further sessions with me, if you have reservations it may be that I can offer some assistance of another service which may be more suited to what you feel you need.
I have experience in both long term and short term counselling and therapy – the question of how long we will work together for is something we will discuss during our initial meetings and then review in line with what you are hoping to get out of therapy. We will decide an ending together and work towards this so you feel supported on your continuing route to self-fulfillment.
Should you choose to work with me, ongoing appointments are 50 minutes and we would usually meet on a weekly basis, on the same day and at the same time. Usually, at our first or sometimes second appointment, we can agree how long our first engagement will be before we informally review together to understand whether you have reached your goals or what progress you have made toward your desired goals and agreeing a longer period of counselling and psychotherapy.
