Individual sessions are scheduled for 50 minutes and occur at the same designated time every week. In our initial session, we will collaboratively determine your dedicated hourly slot. Consistent weekly attendance is not only advisable but crucial for the efficacy and advancement of the therapy. If a session is missed or cancelled, even with prior notice, the full fee is applicable, as it is considered part of the reserved weekly slot.
To schedule your first appointment, please email me at sam@headspace-therapy.com with your availability. While I strive to respond promptly, during busy periods, it may take up to 48 hours for me to reply.
Typically, sessions are conducted in my consulting rooms. However, for those residing elsewhere or based on your unique circumstances, I also offer online sessions via Zoom. It’s important to note that I am currently in the process of establishing a new consulting room, so consultations are presently available exclusively online.
For those seeking extended appointments, I offer pro-rated fees. This covers additional time dedicated to session-related activities, such as consultation, reading, research, and record-keeping.
Appointment Rescheduling Policy
If the need arises to reschedule an appointment, this is generally possible, especially with advance notice. Your cooperation and understanding in providing notice for rescheduling are appreciated to facilitate a smooth adjustment process.
Payment Options
I accept payments in cash or via bank transfer. For in-person appointments, the first session payment can be made in cash. In contrast, for online appointments, the initial session fee should be settled in advance through bank transfer.
Subsequent to our first session, and upon mutual agreement to continue our work together, I provide the option to invoice on a monthly basis, unless you express a different preference. This approach aims to offer flexibility and convenience in managing payment arrangements throughout our collaborative journey.
The fees encompass extra time allocated for session-related tasks, including consultation, reading, research, and record-keeping.
Holidays Notifications
I typically observe the following holidays throughout the year, and any deviations from this schedule will be communicated and discussed with you:
- 2 weeks at Easter
- The month of August
- 2 weeks at Christmas / New Year break
